Project:
A Business of Flies
An arcade style boss battle set in the world of a fly defeating their evil CEO through quick movements and innovative usage of items.
In the final year of my education at DePaul University, I am working alongside five of my peers to create our senior capstone game. My role is as designer and producer, working alongside and sharing responsibilities with my co-designer and producer. Together we have designed this game from the ground up and organized our team members into an efficient team that creates a wonderful game experience. Said game is an arcade style boss battle where the player is a business fly and must defeat his oppressive CEO. Using his fly movements and arsenal of items to the fullest. More information, and the game itself, can be found here.

Project:
Fishing For Collectors
A flash style game that has the player capturing fish and fulfilling a small collection. They do this by timing their bobber with the moving fish, increasing their grip bar. Once filled they receive one of ten assorted fish.
I created this during an ongoing Solo-Game class at DePaul (Gam 355), and was inspired by the fishing mechanic in Dredge. I added on the idea of different bobbers that change the fishing mechanic from Stardew Valley. This resulted in a simple, fun fishing game that one would find on flash website. As due to the limited time, scope was a major aspect of designing this game. I focused heavily on what was important and had to prioritize gameplay. My dev logs on my Itch page go into further detail of how I focused on mechanic to mechanic each update.

I <3 Pixel Pet!
Retro story game focusing on the important of the little things in life.
In my advanced game design course at DePaul(GAM 365), I was tasked with creating a short and simple game all about an object of personal importance. I choose to use the concept of a digital pet as said object. With the gameplay loop being to take care of them or risk losing yourself in the process. The story is about the struggles with mental health told through an ever growing mess in the players room. You can learn more and play the game here.
